Odessa Lions honor peace poster contest participants
Odessa Lions Club members hosted a Saturday evening event at the Downtown facility to honor junior high students from Odessa who competed in the International Lions Peace Poster Contest. District governor Bill Lipham noted eight Odessa clubs sponsor entrants and praised the district winner from Iraan. Students received dinner, a $50 Savings Bond, a trophy, and a participation certificate.
