U S to tighten Pacific Coast fishing limits

Fire destroys Garfield County Courthouse in Jordan Montana

A Sunday fire virtually destroyed Garfield County Courthouse in Jordan. Firefighters fought flareups overnight. court files were lost though two vaults remained. Sheriff Phipps noted a heater suspected, with state fire marshal investigating. The Freemen seized the courthouse on January 27, 1994 claiming the county’s supreme court.
