Wink Highs Football Coach Shapes Local Culture and Discipline
Sam Scott, 25 years in coaching, leads Wink Wildcats with a strict, year round athletic program. He and principal Danny Carrillo emphasize discipline linking sports to education, with students united across sports in one program and conditioning as a daily class. Players like Doro Mendoza Cody Slaughter and Justin Hamm credit the regimen with life preparation even as they balance work and future plans.
