Rates fall in Treasury auction on short term bills
The Treasury sold 12 billion in three month bills at 5.700 percent and 10 billion in six month bills at 5.500 percent. Both rates were down from the previous week and the three month and six month yields marked their lowest since late June and early January respectively. The Fed reported the one year Treasury bill yield slipping to 5.44 percent from 5.73 percent.
