Mortician charged over false death certificate in Greenville
John W. Woods Jr. is charged with filing a fraudulent death certificate claiming his wife Dorothy was killed in a Pickens County crash on Nov 4 and with presenting a false insurance claim. Investigators say no knowledge of the crime by Dorothy Woods exists. Woods bonded on the insurance charge after being released from detention.
