Training From Page 1A First Responder Program eyed for West Texas aid
Dr Gary Ventolini of TTUHSC Permian Basin and Dr Vyas proposed a trainer trainee program to boost on site emergency care in rural Texas. They plan phased training with videos MOOCS hands on sessions and mock drills using Medical Center Hospital simulators. The effort aims to reduce mortality after accidents and enable local leaders to sustain training costs.
