Bank ordered to pay 2.25 million in Midland loan case
Charles and Jeannie McClure were awarded 2.25 million by a federal jury against Security National Bank of Midland over a loan requirement forcing use of a bank designated contractor. Refunds Planned By Texas Utilities Electric Co
Texas Utilities Electric Co filed with the Public Utility Commission to refund about 55.6 million to customers. The credit will appear on February or later bills, averaging around eight dollars for residential customers. Fuel cost reductions lower bills about five percent annually, with a proposed further 3.7 percent cut if approved. Natural gas price drops enabled the reductions.
