Frasers mourners heard Lt Mark Lange described as a true American hero after his fighter bomber was shot down by Syrian missiles during an American raid on December 4. Lange, Naval Academy graduate, was eulogized by fellow officers and community leaders at St John s Lutheran Church, with Lt Robert Goodman captured in the same incident. The services included a 21 gun salute and reminiscences from classmates and naval officials about Lange s dedication and goals.
