Campbell to resign from EDA amid testimony probe
Washington AP reports Carlos C. Campbell will resign within two weeks after two years as head of the Economic Development Administration. The Commerce Department plans a new position for him as Campbell had faced questions over grants to firms with ties to executives he knew, while his testimony before a House subcommittee was postponed. Cooper said Campbell has been seeking another administration post for months.
