Williams father says lawyers caused antics in court

Atlanta AP Wayne B Williams grew antagonistic on the witness stand after being told to by his lawyers and will claim inadequate defense in his appeal of the murder conviction. His father Homer says the change was orchestrated by defense attorney Alvin Binder who later resigned for health reasons.

Pan Am tightens security after second bomb found

Pan Am tightens security systemwide after a second bomb was found on Flight 441 in Rio de Janeiro. A 16 year old Japanese boy was killed earlier when a bomb exploded on Flight 830 from Tokyo to Honolulu. Police searched two Pan Am planes in Los Angeles with no found threats.
