Dear Abby Letters on Drunk Driving Bills and Stats
Dear Abby discusses Maryland drunk-driving law reform and federal bills H.R. 2488 and S. 671 to curb drunk driving. The letter cites Norway’s outcomes and urges reader action via postcards to lawmakers. The response provides sobering statistics on alcohol related crashes and outlines proposed penalties and a statewide driver record system. The Odessa American snippet mentions a chrome cart and wall hangings as an unrelated catalog fragment.
