Two Fort Worth brothers pleaded guilty in a scheme billing the U S military health care system for unnecessary saliva and urine tests. Matthew and Britt Hawrylak face up to five years in prison and up to $250 000 fines each. Sentencing is set for November.

Man sought after Galveston shooting after crash
Galveston police search for a man who shot two juvenile passengers following a minor car collision Friday evening. Witnesses say an adult man from one vehicle was assaulted, retrieved a handgun, and fired through the other car’s windshield before fleeing. Both youths were hospitalized with one in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
