Odessa housing market cools as listings rise and prices dip
Odessa home sales slipped 2.5 percent in the second quarter to 329 with the median price down 5.7 percent to 166000. Inventory rose toward a buyer seller balance, aided by more listings and higher vacancies in rentals. Local economists say prices may keep easing as new construction continues and demand shifts.
