Oberlin Dramatic Association Sets New Constitution

At the regular meeting the Oberlin Dramatic Association approved a constitution and submitted it for approval. The faculty elected three members to the Dramatic Association board, Professors Wager, Jelliffe, and Sherman. Three more members will be elected from the faculty at the next vote.

Local Social Rally and Concert Slated This Saturday

A notice states a social rally and concert will be held last Saturday night and again tomorrow evening at 8 30 with Jail men invited. Music and stunts promise entertainment. A late event begins at 9 with Dean Mile and veterans speaking. Attendees urged to come, as entry is limited.

Theta Club Organizes AY First Meetin

The Theta Club held its first meeting last week to fill the role left vacant by George Clauss. Sherwood Moran was chosen president and the group planned a more formal basis with a membership fee. The inaugural regular meeting is set for Wednesday at 9 o'clock with talks by the president and vice-president followed by a social hour.

Boiler House Nearing Completion at New Heating Plant

The boiler house for the new heating plant is progressing rapidly with only maint connections left to finish. Pumps for condensate return are installed and the system will be among the most complete in the state, capable of using gas or coal to ensure continuous heat if one method fails. Gas main trenches have been dug and the building will use hollow blocks covered with concrete.

New French Diction Course Offered for Conservatory Students

A special course in French diction for advanced Conservatory students will be taught by Associate Professor Tamenon in Nag ing. It focuses on French pronunciation with singing practice, includes basic grammar, memory work with simple poems, and study of modern French songs to aid pronunciation and diction in vocal music.

Student Recital Highlights and Address at Christchurch
