Twelve Oberlin students led by Prof Lynas Jones conduct a seven thousand mile ecology geology field trip through the West visiting Grand Canyon Bryce Canyon Pike’s Peak Lake Santa Fe and others. The annual journey surveys geology and planet life across states including Indiana Illinois Kansas Colorado and California.

John Elder, dray line secretary for the Student Volunteer Movement, will speak at 10 o'clock Sunday morning in Council Hall Chapel about foreign missionary work. A reception and supper in the Men s Building Monday evening from 6:30 to 8 completes the local events.
The Actionan newest movie "Out tody a1" played at Rex theater Thursday and Friday. It drew a good crowd and raised funds to drive the new furnishing for the youth room at Stursisll, which has been redecorated.
