Oberlin Glee Club Admits Members in October Tryouts
A large group of Oberlin Conservatory students and others took a fiat examination for the glee club with about forty of nearly a hundred candidates recalled for a final test. Successful candidates include Misses Fish Beck De Val Lee Shotts Wilson and Hoe, among others, with nineteen of the twenty eight club members from the Conservatory or Oberlin College. Names of first sopranos altos and altos are listed among the successful entrants.
