Earth Day Events Planned at College and Community
The Earth Day Planning Group coordinates a May Fair and two Italian meals to celebrate Environmental Awareness. West College Street will close 10:00 to 3:00 for booths, food, plant sales, and information. Events include Indian Dancers, a bagpipe concert, brass choir, puppets, theatre, and a nature themed picnic on the lawn between Harkness and Talott. Evening chicken dinner and a Randy Newman concert cap the day.

Native dancers from South Dakota Minneapolis Detroit Chicago and upstate New York arrive to compete for 1065 in four prize categories at the All Indian Powwow a community event. Four singers the Sons of the Opalas a female fancy dancer and a master of ceremony lead a lineup with arts crafts booths and ticket sales at Earthday.

College Faculty approves ExCo credit motion unanimous vote
