Oberlin Sends Sixth of A B Missionaries
The American Board of Foreign Missions Almanac for 1916 shows 616 missionaries under appointment with Oberlin studied among them. 158 institutions hosted the rest. Cadet Academy loses to Toledo in hard fought game
In a full varsity contest the Academy, despite strong defense by King and Tenney, fell 36 to 25 to Toledo. Hob Gray and Kramer stood out for the Academy while Russell left with a sprained foot as Yetman filled in on the guard position.

Standing Room Tickets Sold for Oberlin Allegheny Game
About 150 to 200 standing room tickets will be sold for the Oberlin Allegheny basketball game next Saturday night. Forty chairs will be reserved at the north end of Warner Hall and about twenty five other reservations are saved for alumni. if not taken, they will be released next Monday. The 61st interclass women's basketball series produced fast, hard fought play with Seniors and Sophomores victorious in their respective games. Senior Junior clash ended 18-16 after a first half 6-18 deficit. Sophomore Freshman game favored the Sophomores as the second half improved. Next Monday morning the series continues with Seniors vs Freshmen and Juniors vs Sophomores.

Seniors and Juniors Lead In Interclass Basketball Games
Seniors defeated Sophomores to claim first in Monday play while Juniors beat Freshmen to stay tied for second. Caldwell scored seven for the Seniors as Peake and Connor blocked well, and King dazzled with deft moves. In the second game Juniors surged ahead. Jack Reese starred for the Juniors as Freshmen tried but fell short.
