Oberlin Women Hurt in Automobile Accident
Two Oberlin women Mrs Vander Py and Mrs G F Bohn were injured when their car skidded near Oberlin Monday afternoon. They were taken to Entewood hospital for X rays and treatment. one woman suffered rib injuries and possible head injuries while the other escaped with minor hurts. The driver attempted to avert collision with an oncoming car as the machine's wheel and fender were damaged.

Farmin Receives Gold Medal for Brave Rescue at Diamond Lake
Wray Farmin, 28, awarded the Gold Medal by the National Boy Scout Court of Honor for rescuing three women from a capsized boat on Diamond Lake Wash last August. Farmin and a fellow swimmer braved heavy seas and darkness to reach the stricken party, saving three of four aboard before reaching shore.
