Blau named Professor of the Arts at College Conservatory

Blau will join Con and Cynthia Elek on a new arts project next fall as Professor of the Arts. Ellsworth Carlson notes faculty councils and extensive interviews supported the appointment amid Education Commission proposals for an inter university arts program. Two foundations have pledged to review funding for the new program, and the administration sees Blau as an asset to both College and Conservatory.
