A new conservatory course expands to require 69 hours with three fourths graded C or better. It covers piano singing and harmony training with 20 hours of professional public school music, psychology education and teaching. Beginning next year three years of work will be added bringing total to 90 hours. The third year focuses on theory and instrumentation and ensemble practice. Oberlin conservatory reports about 89 students enrolled this year, about one fifth of the total.

Piety Senior Men At Meet In Basement Inaugurate Event
Approximately 60 men gathered Friday night in a basement venue to inaugurate the Piety senior stag. Magrin Falls high school Glee Club opened its season with a Friday concert in the junior high era under Ralph Palmer. Director Jack Wirkler praised the club’s unusually strong showing for the first concert as plans unfold for the Dayton performance on December 20 on the annual Christmas trip.
