Affairs Group Recommends Affiliation At Faculty Meeting

The group urged affiliation during a faculty meeting led by Shea Home 4 clan a on the decision will be made by the general faculty. Professor Hanreck chaired the committee and spoke about wrapping up the session. Student concerns were raised by Dick Osman and the Student Council.

Nine Panty Raiders Suspended Four To Make Faculty Appeal

Nine Coffee men, seven freshmen, were suspended until noon December 18 after panty raids. Four will appeal to the faculty. all nine appealed to the Committee of Deans, who upheld the decision. Some plan to appeal the General Faculty. others must leave Oberlin by midnight Thursday. The actions aim to deter future panty raids, deemed dangerous due to large crowds and excitement.

Faculty approves none grade fed courses for 1966 67 year

The faculty votes to establish none grade fed courses for 1966 67 with two full semesters at Oberlin allowing a satisfactory unsatisfactory option each semester. Satisfactory counts toward graduation, unsatisfactory does not affect graduation or class rank but remains on the permanent record. Departments may adopt this grading as an alternative to letters. The plan will be tested this period.

YR s Letter Supports Johnson to Run Vietnam Policy
