Faculty Endorses Credit No Entry Grading Plan
The College Faculty approved a credit no entry option for next semester in a one semester experiment. Students may take courses for ungraded credit with no entry for work graded D or higher, while others may stay on the current grade system with S for C or better and U for F. Violence Elicits Concern Co ed Knifing Shocks Oberlin
The Oberlin News Tribune reports a stabbing at Oberlin College last Saturday. A sophomore student, Stanet Weller, was attacked in Tecott House. A Wednesday night discovery of a blood soaked glove and knife raised fresh police questions. A male suspect, about twenty five, 5 8, stocky, blond hair, was seen near her third floor room. The victim woke her roommate but urged silence until morning. Classmates attempted to alert others, but their calls went unheeded.
