War Department Final Orders to Disband
The War Department issues final orders to disband the Eighty A. T. C. units and begin demobilization by December with full discharges by January 1, 1915. Oberlin, Yale, and Kansas State to release students. about 200 men to resume normal college work in Oberlin next semester.

Unclear Fate of College Equipment for Men’s Building Barracks

Professor Foster Lectures on Dante in Council Bluffs
Professor Frank Hugh Foster delivered the first two of three lectures on Dante and the Divine Comedy in Council Bluffs. The first covered Dante and the Poem as a Whole, the second The Inferno. The final lecture, The Main Message of the Poem, occurs Thursday, December 5, at 7 p.m. in the Council Bluffs chapel.

Men of the Barracks Receive Uniforms Without Shoes
The 8 A T C unit received uniforms including trousers blouses and socks enough for 923 men but only 161 coats arrived and shoes were missing. A War Department telegram says shoes will be sent by freight and overcoats along with flannel shirts are awaited before December 21 when the unit is to be disbanded.

Dr King outlines new YMCA program in France
Dr Henry Chrebill King who succeeds Bishop Luther J Wilson as head of the YMCA religious department in France outlines the new YMCA program with army chaplain liaison. The plan includes literature and speakers bureaus a study course department and a future callings bureau to aid men after the war. Nonsectarian service is to Catholics Hebrews and all Protestant denominations.
