Snow flurry marks season start as Nutley residents note holidays, visitors, and local events. Miss Partheula A Mottith wed Mr Ernest G Weischedel at Grace Church on Thursday evening with Miss Mas McKenna as bridesmaid and Abbott Weischedel as best man. A reception followed at Avondale Road home before a Washington trip and a Centre Street residence move.
Mr G A Hulbert of Union Theological Seminary in New York will preach at 11 a m and 7 45 p m on Sunday. Sunday School starts at 9 45 a m with Primary Department at 2 30 p m and Young Peoples Meeting at 7 p m. The bath services feature good music by a quartette.

Samuel Chardi, a town constable, reports his bookkeeper Wiss Bessie Mason disappeared with about $600 and valuable papers after taking charge of payments. Mason left for California, heading toward Los Angeles, leaving Chardi seeking the missing funds and papers.
The Westbury Notey Country Club held a Wednesday evening meeting at the Masonic Hall. Aeuchre and a dance were featured with vocal selections by Mr A V B Sherlock drawing applause. Ladies vote to admit women as members. several applications await action at the regular meeting.
The town treasurer C H Eierstead and Mrs Kierstead plan a two week driving tour starting this morning. They will travel through Essex Morris and Sussex Counties to the New York State line via the Wallkill Valley and Orange County then follow the river back home.

The Friday Afternoon Glob met at Mrs. HW. W. on Prospect Street to enjoy a paper on Queen Elizabeth by Mrs. Samuel Bird Jr. and solos by Mrs. L.B. Pratt and Mrs. St. John. The group plans a future meeting with Miss Stuart on Church Street on November 23.
On Sunday Rev. Wm. Stuart will preach at 11 a.m. on A Sigh or a Song and at 7:45 p.m. on Wondrous Dealings. Sunday School and Bible Class begin 9:45 a.m. Sons and Daughters of the King meet 7:15 p.m. Prayer Meeting is Wednesday at 8 p.m.

A Nutley Thanksgiving sale to benefit the Nutley Improvement Society will be held at the Nutley Library on Passaic Avenue Friday November 28 from 3 to 5 pm. Pies cake jellies preserves and related goods will be offered for sale to all Nutley residents and interested parties.
