Patriotic Fund Week Kicks Off With May Events
Memorial week activities begin Saturday May 25 with sports Sunday May 28 and a Town Hall flag raising. Governor Edge will appear in Nutley with staff and Adjutant General Gilk for Decoration Day events. Nutley Mourns First Local Boy Killed in France
The Nutley community reports the death of Albert Trazewski of 48 Entwhistle Avenue serving as a private in the 16th Infantry. Born in Poland, he came to America in 1915 to live with his sister Mrs Teopila Roswad aurka. Surviving relatives include his sister and his mother in Poland. Two other Nutley men have died in service, Stephen Dorr Jr. in an air crash at Toronto and William Harrison from Newport News.
