Hillside Pleasure Park opens with Wild West show and new attractions
The Hillside Pleasure Park season starts with a Wild West equestrian show and a host of new attractions across its expanded 76 acre grounds. Burney Demaresti leads 24 cowboys and cowgirls in two daily performances with horse races, acrobatics, dog acts, and a “Sidle for Life” finale plus balloon ascensions and nightly dancing and roller skating. The park adds a large animal menagerie, a Destruction of San Francisco re performance, Sitting Bull tribute, and the Egyptian Hall of Mystery with a $5,000 illusion.
