Seventeen year old George Monroe Stager is died in the National Fire Works factory blaze in Belleville along with two other workers Miss Lena Shick and Frank F. Bradner. Lamb wins two medals at Trinity Chapel Scholastic Games
Joseph G. Lamb Jr of Grant Avenue captured two medals in the Trinity Chapel Scholastic Games held last Friday at Pelham Bay Park Long Island. He won the 440 yard dash from scratch in 1 minute 12 seconds a new school record and helped the winning relay team. A medal was awarded for each event.
