Funeral planned for artist Arthur Hoeber in Nutley home
Services for Arthur Hoeber artist father and lecturer who died of heart failure Thursday morning will be held at 11 o clock at his Nutley home in the Enclosure Rev Douglas Matthews of Grace Church will conduct the Episcopal funeral and burial will be in Greenwood. Pallbearers include Saint White John V Bouvier Jr Arthur B Proal Col H G Proat Albert Sterner and Robert Aiken. Hoeber famed as art critic author lecturer and artist was born in New York City July 23 1854 and studied at the Art Students League and Ecole des Beaux Arts Paris He lived in Nutley and is survived by Mrs Hoeber and two sons Harold and Bentley.

Belleville Woman Dies From Apoplexy During Walk
Miss Laure Conover a sixty eight year old Belleville resident living at 87 Bell Street collapsed on a sidewalk while viewing a property formerly owned by her father on Cock Avenue. She died within two minutes of apoplexy. A neighbor Mrs E B Doyle shared the Bell Street address. Despite an earlier attack she walked daily and was last seen near a half mile from home. Authorities believe overexertion sparked the fatal episode.
