Reduction idea meets defeat at school board vote
At a Tuesday school meeting in the Park chool Auditorium about 150 of 500 to 600 attendees were women demanding voicing rights on reducing the board from pand to five. A viva voce vote was held after attempts to register opinions were denied, trustees were elected for three and one year terms, and the ballot count showed the majority opposed the reduction while the appropriations passed 263 to 15.
