Death of Lyman Nichols Still Unexplained
Lyman Nichols of 214 Nutley avenue was found with a bullet wound on Vreeland avenue and his death remains a mystery. Theories include accidental discharge while carrying a pistol, umbrella, and meat bundle on a windy walk, or foul play. Funeral services are set for this afternoon from the Nutley avenue home with Rev. Edwin A White officiating. Nichols, 46, was secretary of the Sterling Bronze Company and a Grace Church official. he leaves a wife and two sons.
