St Mary's Lyceum Encore Party Awards Prizes at New Club

On Wednesday night the first encore party at St Marys Lyceum in the new clubhouse honored prizewinners from Nutley Belleville Jersey City and Brooklyn. First prize a half dozen silver knives and forks went to Mrs H C Colston of Belleville. Second prize a picture to Mrs O E Riley also of Belleville. Other prizes went to Miss Kate Crawley J W Sutter Miss E Bays and many more Nutley residents and others received awards.

First Public Lecture by Nutley Board of Education

Next Friday evening the 20th inst the Nutley Board of Education opens a contemplated lecture series at the High School Auditorium. Mr Howard G C Greene of New York City will speak with stereoptical views on the St Louis Fair. Admission is free but children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Death of Mrs John Brader at Brookfield Avenue

Mrs John Brader aged 81 died after brief illness at the residence of Mrs Sadie Buckley on Brookfield avenue. Funeral services were at St Mary's Church and interment in Holy Cross Cemetery Jersey City Heights. Widow of John Bruder she had resided locally over fifty years. Survived by Mrs Buckley and her son John Joseph Buckley.
