Death of Nutley resident Gilbert Livingston shocks town
Gilbert Robert Livingston died of heart trouble while traveling to New York on Thursday morning. The Nutley home on Avenue met his funeral at 3 pm with Rev. Douglas Matthews of Grace Church officiating. Burial followed in Carmel New York. Survivors include widow Mrs Livingston two children Robert and Fay and sister Miss S A Livingston.

Local Man Fath er Killed by Train at Waldwick Yards
John J. McGlyar, longtime Erie Railway yardmaster at Waldwick, was struck by a train and killed last Saturday. He served the Erie for fifty six years. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Pater. He is survived by a widow and another son William J. McGlyan. John J. McGlyar Jr. also with the Erie as an engineer.
