Former Town Official's Father Dies Suddenly

Dr. William C. Parry of Hainesport, father of former Recorder William H. Parry, died at his home Tuesday morning after poleuro pneumonia. Born May 17, 1849 in Warminster, Pa, he was Jefferson Medical College Class of 1872 graduate and former State Senator elected in 1895. Known as the farmer's friend, he supported agriculture and served as Friends member and Burlington County Medical Society leader. He leaves a daughter and a son.

Grace Church Fair Aids Building Fund In December

The Grace Church ladies host a two day fair in the Parish House on December 7 and 8 with multiple tables including fancy and gift items plus a candy table and lemonade well. A second night supper runs 5 30 to 8 00 p.m. Impromptu charades by local gentlemen and an entertainment on the first night support the church building fund.

Burglars Driven Off by Maid in Prospect Street

Burglars entered the Grntting home on Prospect Street late Friday night and began ransacking, but were scared away when an upstairs maid Miss Mary Higgins switched on the electric light. Silverware and cut glass valued at several hundred dollars were within reach and partially packed for removal.
