Miss Catherine Cunningham Dies After Long Illness
Miss Catherine T Cunningham sister of Rev William L Cunningham rector of St Marys Church died Wednesday in the rectory after a year long illness. She was fifty two or fifty three and had lived in the city six years. Born in Worcester Massachusetts to Thomas and Hannah Cunningham she leaves three brothers and two sisters. A solemn high mass of requiem was held at St Marys with several priests assisting and music by Howard Pachal and a quartet. Burial is at St Johns Cemetery Worcester.

Newark Man Gets Thirty Days For Attempted Kiss
A 59 year old man from Nyack was sentenced to thirty days in jail for attempting to kiss a Newark girl who had given him breakfast after he solicited at a back door. He was arrested by Chief Sutcliffe and Patrolman Maliza. Earlier a fine of 10 dollars was imposed on several Newark youths for forcibly kissing a girl in a jitney.
