At Town Hall the annual tax sale drew fifteen bidders for about 300 parcels. Kurt Schaffer of Elizabeth argued as the collector auctioned by year terms. After failing to present cash, he was ejected by the collector and police removed him from the building. Another bidder later relinquished claims.
