Notable Philanthropist Dr Pearsons Plans Charitable End
The Chicago philanthropist Dr Pearsons announces he will sell his home and give away the remainder of his fortune after his 91st birthday on April 11. He says he is thrifty and has given away 86,000,000 to colleges and other causes, intending to die penniless. The item also mentions Sarah Bernhardt’s European tour, a Paris tale about her with Jon Sullivan, and notes on Colonel Edward H. T. Green moving to New York to manage his mother’s interests.
