Two Nutley men Ex-Councilman Henry M. Libby and Recorder Washington E. Page, former members of Company H Seventh Regiment NGS, marched with the veterans on Wednesday for the regiment’s fifty anniversary of its Civil War departure. Charles A. Van Wart Dies After Surgery in New York
Charles A. Van Wart of Nutley died after surgery for an intestinal growth at a private New York hospital. Funeral services were held, with Rev. Dr. Warren L. Hoagland officiating. He is survived by his wife Etta, two children Mildred and Walter, and his parents, sister, and brother. He had lived in Nutley six years after moving from Bayonne and Jersey City.

Funeral services for Williams L Sergeant treasurer of George LaMonte & Sona were held Monday morning at Stephen's Church on Sixty-ninth Street New York. The Rev De Siegel officiated assisted by Rev Herbert Dunbar Cone rector of Grave Episcopal Church Nutley. The funeral was largely attended by prominent New York business men and others from Nutley. Interment followed at Mt Hebron Cemetery.
