George Moore aged eighty eight died Tuesday at his daughter Mrs Henry Van Winkie Chestnut street from general debility after a lengthy illness. He leaves one son six daughters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born in Bloomfield he spent most of his life in what is now Nutley. Services were held yesterday at the Methodist Episcopal Church and he was interred in the Methodist Cemetery.
The State Exempt Firemen's Association holds its annual convention in Nutley on May 6 with 400 to 500 delegates expected. The town will observe a holiday, with business suspended and a 25 to 30 company parade planned in the afternoon. Blackfield Citizen notes strong Nutley representation.

St Paris Congregational Church holds special Easter music this Sunday with Rev C O Helming preaching at 11 am and 7:45 pm. An Easter offering will be received. Sunday School at 9:45 am and 2:31 pm Young People's Meeting. Midweek service Wednesday 8 pm. Candies from Musobid Hall Pharmacy.
