Nutley To Buy $5,000 Gasoline Fire Wagon In July
Nutley Fire Department plans to acquire a Pope Hartford Combination Chemical and Hose Wagon at a cost of 5,000 dollars. Thief Hidden in Cellar Tries to Loot Gas Meter
William Murren of 187 Franklin Avenue investigated noises at his home Thursday night. He found a gas meter cut open with a sharp instrument after a suspicious intruder escaped unseen. Police reported no clues and no progress in the case.

Funeral held for Nutley woman Mrs Jacobus of Prospect Street
The funeral of Mrs Jacobus of 91 Prospect Street Nutley was held Thursday from her home. Rev Henry J Condit preached at St Pauls Congregational Church. Pallbearers included Mayor Lux and others. Interment will be private at Passaic avenue Methodist Cemetery. She was daughter of Willand Vir of Vreeland Avenue and remained a Nutley resident. Survived by husband two sisters and one brother.
