Firelands seeks scholarships and library support for students
Firelands Branch of Bowling Green State University relies on student fees and state funds to operate a $890,000 budget. Dr. J H McBride highlights unmet student needs and calls for scholarships, loans, and library materials. Community leaders plan a benefit event to aid expansion and a Friends of the Library group aims to increase resources as six new technical programs begin with each program needing about 500 volumes.
