State Auditor Thomas Ferguson reports Bucyrus City School District will close the year December 31 with a 12080 deficit of 12 thousand dollars, offset by an extra 120800 in personal property taxes. The district will not close due to the upcoming Christmas vacation and small overall shortfall.

Farmer a Norwalk automobile dealer formerly of Downtown Dodge and Downtown Motors died at the Cleveland Clinic after two weeks with an aneurysm He was a life long Norwalk resident and member of several local organizations He is survived by his wife Constance three daughters twin sons his mother two brothers and a sister Funeral services will be held at St Alphonsus Church Peru with wake at Heuston Gerber Funeral Home and burial in St Alphonsus cemetery Memorials may be sent to a charity of choice.
