Car Crash on Main Street Leads to Yield Charge
A red light violation caused a collision downtown as Marcia E. White, 25, admitted she ran the light. She struck Patricia S. Reilly, 23, who was turning left onto Main Street. White faces a failure to yield the right of way charge.

Howard Terwilliger a 54 year old dock loader at West Baking Co in Collins was treated at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after slipping on a stone stepped and twisted his ankle. He was not seriously injured but complained of back pain and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The incident occurred about 7 am.
