In Washington on Wednesday Ohio's two U S senators diverged on Dirksen's proposed constitutional amendment for voluntary school prayer. Frank Lausche, a Democrat, supported the measure while Stephen Young, also a Democrat, opposed it as the plan failed 49 to 37 short of the two thirds needed.

NF Man Pinned Under Trailer
