City Museum Displays New Acquisitions From Summer
Firelands Museum shows items donated by local families including a late 18th century wine glass from Mrs. Ednar Bowen Jennings, a 1841 coverlet by Schock, Indian history books, a gutta percha daguerreotype case, century-old children’s blocks, and two Sandwich glass butter pots. The Williams and Angell families contributed postmaster pictures, local histories, brass candlesticks, and Staffordshire vases, with Empire chairs and an embroidered ottoman in the parlor.

Car Crash On U S 20 Leads To Drunken Driving Charge
Lyle C. Watson, 51, of 103 Jefferson St., charged with drunken driving after his car hit the rear of a semi on U S 20 east of Monroeville. Wilbert T. Leasure Jr., 30, of Westlake, the truck driver, was not injured. Watson treated at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital. Carl W. Lund, 30, of rural Norwalk, also treated after rear ending a farm tractor on New State Road 7 south of Norwalk. Lund charged with failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

EHOVE plans building addition and funding move
EHOVE Superintendent Creighton Christ won board approval to seek state funds to match 80 000 dollars to finance an addition to the horticulture and diesel building. Bellevue district will provide 80 000 dollars next year when joining EHOVE. 831 students are enrolled this year and a new driver training auto simulator was demonstrated for use at EHOVE and home schools.
