Padlock at Antioch College as student strike shuts campus
YELLOW SPRINGS Ohio UPI Antioch College closed and padlocked after about 145 students blocked by hourly workers over funding for the New Directions Program. Students say $230000 promised funds were not provided, leaving many needy students without money and seeking free classes for credit and greater student representation on the administrative council. About 800 students are enrolled in the summer quarter.
