Manager Appears In Court Over Sunday Pool Rules
Shark's manager Robert Boyce 24 faced two charges in Mayor's Court for staying open on Sunday and allowing minors to play pool. He pleaded no contest and received a suspended $50 fine plus $7 costs on each charge. The suspension lasts three years with a warning that a repeat offense would add the fines to future penalties. Outside the case Boyce asked about changing the poolroom law. the mayor directed him to the ward councilman. GOAL: $91,000. PLEDGED: $32,640 or 35.9 per cent of goal.

Mother cited in theft of own child charges in Norwalk
Norwalk woman Maria Robinette Richardson is sought on charges of child stealing after taking her four year old son Donovan in violation of a court order. Prosecutors filed charges after Richardson took the boy Oct. 19 and failed to return him by midnight.
