Collins Firm Law On Sewer secures apparent low bid for Bartow construction project. Competing bids include Firelands Equipment Norwalk ?14,143 and others: R A Bores Norwalk 14,667 Olcott and Ott Excavating Norwalk 14,321 Lutes Brothers Excavating Berlin Heights 18,663 Price Construction Co Norwalk 20,728. The waterline will enable Gaumont Nursing Home fire sprinkler system and improve hydrant flow. City and nursing home contractors will share costs.

Farmer Blames Train For Fire In Norwalk Fields

Cyril Good Jr plans to sue Norfolk and Western Railroad after a fire damaged 14 acres of corn on his rented farm along Arcade Road east of Norwalk. He says sparks from trains traveling uphill caused the blaze and notes multiple fires along the tracks.
