Huron County votes on half mill mental health levy
Voters will decide on a half mill levy on November 4 to fund mental health services in Huron County. The measure would raise about $98 000 with $66 000 for general mental health programs and distributions of $32 000 to the county juvenile court and child services division. Officials say state cuts reduced allocations by $13 625 and local funding from a four tenths mill levy is down this year.
