Westerhold Named 1970 Christmas Seal Chairman
James R. Westerhold, GM of Ohio Radio Inc., was named the 1970 Christmas Seal chairman by Ivan E. Goodrich of the Huron County Tuberculosis and Health Association. The campaign launches Nov 11 with seals mailed to about 11 000 homes in Huron County. He previously led Norwalk Chamber and joined WLKR from Sandusky in 1962.

Betts Campaign Kicks Off in Ohio District Tour

Law Officers Conduct City School Program On Duty
Tuesday morning officials led a city wide effort in junior and senior high schools to teach youths about law enforcement. Police Chief L C Hilson juvenile officer John Short Lt Jack Walsh and Sheriff John Borgia attended with talks and Q A sessions planned across Norwalk area high and junior high schools. Washington reports George Ipser a Chicago naturalized citizen was arrested in Czechoslovakia on Sept 4 on charges of derogatory remarks about President Ludvik Svoboda with no clear trial date set.
